Behind-the-Scenes at Sea-Tac Airport Shoot for "Going Green" Spot | Spin Creative
Dec 2012 04

Here’s another behind-the-scenes look at the 3-day shoot for the Sea-Tac Airport “Going Green” spot (you can view the spot below) recently produced by Spin Creative (you can view the first behind-the-scenes video here). This behind-the-scenes segment features the Spin team shooting at Sea-Tac Airport and tarmac. Port of Seattle and Alaska Airlines coordinated with the Spin team to capture visually interesting shots. Shooting at the airport is always a logistics challenge because of the many moving parts involved with security and the scale of the airport itself. However, Port of Seattle and Alaska Airlines did a fantastic job accommodating our production requests and allowing us to capture what was needed for the project.

Spin Creative produced this spot for Port of Seattle and Sea-Tac Airport about the “Green” efforts underway throughout the airport. The spot features a family arriving at the airport to enjoy a vacation and the heart of the story features 3D “match move” type composited into eye-catching shots (many with moving camera). Each piece of 3D type calls out the “Green” efforts underway at the airport. The spot plays throughout Sea-Tac airport on TV screens . Spin Creative developed the creative concept and script as well as provided full production support for the project.
