Matthew is a creative director and marketer with two decades of success engaging, inspiring and activating audiences to drive demand for brands.
For each project Matthew brings a focus on creating engaging stories supported with eye-catching visuals. With an emphasis on producing work that connects emotionally with audiences, Matthew believes in the power of a well-constructed story combined with stylish cinematic craft. Having a love for broadcast design and motion graphics, Matthew looks for opportunities to integrate motion design into projects to be both visually enticing and augment the storytelling.
Previous to launching Spin Creative, Matthew was the vice president and managing director for eight years at Eyeplay, a Seattle-based video and creative agency. At Eyeplay he oversaw the day-to-day management of teams and projects, and was one of two directors responsible for developing creative and directing client projects.
Prior to Eyeplay, Matthew was the creative director at The Igloo, a boutique broadcast design firm in Pasadena California producing broadcast graphics for TV shows. At The Igloo he developed the creative strategy for projects and oversaw a diverse team of broadcast designers and animators.
Previous to The Igloo, he worked as a senior producer for Liberty Livewire, an interactive TV company located in Hollywood Caifornia. At Liberty Livewire Matthew wrote and developed interactive TV content and oversaw a team of Flash and interactive designers. He created interactive programming for Discovery, Animal Planet, Fox and Starz Movie Channel. Prior to Liberty Livewire, Matthew was an editor and broadcast designer for Travel Channel’s on-air promo department in Hollywood and Santa Monica California.
