Hun is a brand creation specialist who has a deep passion for building unique identities and solving complex communication problems. With over 20 years experience that spans across all facets of brand strategy and creative, he brings a carefully crafted methodology to each project and firmly believes in maintaining a strong continuity through each phase of a campaign. From strategy through to creative implementation he ensures that each job not only meets the measurable business goals of the client, but also creatively excites and engages their target audience.
He has worked in the US and his native UK where he has created integrated brand campaigns for clients including MTV, NBC/Universal, BT, Eircom, CBS and Samsung. Over the last 14 years Hun has worked with digital brands developing interactive tv experiences, rich media, content-managed and e-commerce websites across a broad range of sectors.
He has won an AIGA (American Institute of Graphic Arts) Brand award, several BDA (Broadcast Designers Association) awards, a Step-by-Step Magazine Top 100 award and has been published in numerous books, journals and online publications including the world renowned Graphis. He has been a judge for the BDA awards and his artwork has also been included in exhibitions for the AOI (Association of Illustrators) and the Manchester International Festival.
Prior to joining Spin, Hun was Design Director at legendary US broadcast branding agency Pittard Sullivan where he was part of a core team tasked with setting up the London office while developing the BTopenworld digital brand. This was followed by a tenure at WPP owned branding agency Lambie-Nairn as an interactive branding consultant.
Before joining Pittard Sullivan, Hun worked as an Art Director at the Rod Dyer Group in Los Angeles creating identities and major motion picture and TV campaigns for Hollywood Pictures, Paramount, Disney, 20th Century Fox and Sony. Previously Hun worked as a designer at Terry Hines and Associates and boutique multimedia design agency MC2.
He holds an MA in Design and Innovation from University of the Arts Central St. Martins (London) where he studied the links between mood and identity in interactive environments. He continues to conduct research and is working on an interactive navigation system based on his findings.
